Karori Holiday Programme

Our creative writing holiday programmes are about tapping into the children’s imaginations and helping them craft a story. During the programme, we use a range of guided creative writing exercises to stimulate new ideas for characters, stories and poems, and to help develop ideas they may already have.

For the younger children, the workshop will help with creative writing for school and enjoyment. For the older children, we hope it will stimulate their interest in creative writing as a hobby, or even just encourage them to read more.

Our holiday programmes are suitable both for students who are passionate about creative writing, looking for extension, and for students who are struggling with writing in a classroom setting, looking to gain confidence.

Our three-hour holiday programmes are for children ages 8-12, and run in the two-week breaks between terms. Please inquire if you have a child outside of this age range, who is interested.
